When I pull my shooter rod the ball does not always make it up and falls back down? What could be the issue? Spring or drag on the rod itself? Any ideas much appreciated. Thank you!

It seems like the spring in the shooter rod might be a bit worn out or maybe there's some friction acting as a roadblock. Have you had a chance to check the spring, see how the rod is moving, or take a look at the rubber tip? It might be worth inspecting or even swapping out some parts if you haven't done that yet.

Check this out, you might find the following video helpful:

Could be a few things, but first place I'd check is the spring, it might be worn out or the wrong tension, then check your shooter rod too, it has to be aligned cleanly through the housing so that the tip is hitting the ball dead center.

Check the spring and make sure the rod's not binding, if its weak, the ball wont clear, it usually may be sth you could fix easily

Good call. it could definitely be a tired spring or some gunk causing drag. Hope you get it fixed soon
