I visited Arcadia Retro in Rivertown, TX, where the focus is primarily on arcade games, but they also have a great selection of 80s pinball machines. You only need to pay a $5 entry fee for arcade access, and each pinball game costs between 25 to 50 cents per play

While the machines might not all be in pristine condition, they are definitely playable. I found the BK2K to be in excellent shape and it played really smoothly. The current pinball lineup features Judge Dredd, High Speed, Swords of Fury, BK2K, Funhouse, and Black Pyramid

It was a budget-friendly and enjoyable way to relive some classic pinball action

While working there, I spent three days in a row in Springfield, which is a great place with authentic dedicated cabinets and a cool retro vibe. Employees are excellent. Get a burgre from Grad School, which is next door. Be prepared for some grill oil. Downtown is also great, with its games, food, drinks, and pub crawl, you could definitely make a weekend out of it again. Excelent location

BK2K playing smooth is always a treat, that soundtrack alone makes it worth the quarters. Thanks for the rundown, I'll have to check it out next time I'm near Rivertown.

Arcadia Retro sounds like a blast! I'm really into their mix of old-school games and reasonable prices, total nostalgia trip. Plus, Springfield seems like the ideal place to grab some tasty food nearby and keep that retro mood going.
