Jaws Pro vs Premium vs LE — Which One Feels Like the BETTER Buy?

I'm getting the itch to grab a new machine and the Stern Jaws pinball has me hooked. Just not sure if I should go with the Pro, Premium, or LE. For those of you who've played them — is the Premium worth the jump in price? And does the Limited Edition really feel that different?

I mostly care about gameplay, but I'm also thinking about resale and long-term fun factor. Any regrets with the version you picked?



I guess I thinking about resell value is moot if I don't enjoy the version I purchase!
 
If you're diving into the world of pinball, the JAWS Pro is a great choice for a smooth gaming experience and it sticks to those classic features we all love. The Premium edition, brings in an upper playfield and some extra toys, but honestly, it feels like it's mostly just for show rather than a major gameplay enhancement. And then there's the LE, which is basically the Premium with some flashy extras but they don't really change the way the game plays.

If gameplay and long-term enjoyment are at the top of your list, the Pro might just give you the best value. In terms of resale, LEs can sometimes hold their value a bit better, but that's not set in stone. What gameplay features are you really into?
 
Funny you mention that, I've been eyeing the Jaws Premium myself lately, the premium definitely steps up the gameplay with extra toys and modes compared to the pro, so if you're into a richer experience, it's worth considering, the LE seems like a collector's dream with some unique art and extras, but I'm not sure it changes the core gameplay enough to justify the price unless you're a big fan of the theme or want the limited run, hehe I did my homework and I'm gonna go with the premium

well, if it's about the value, in the pinball world, Limited Edition models are produced in smaller numbers, so they tend to hold their value or appreciate more consistently than Pro or Premium versions.
If you're concerned about having a machine that's easier to sell down the line without a big loss, the LE is generally the safest bet. The Premium sits in a bit of a middle ground, but it's a huge step up from the Pro in terms of resale
 
You're spot on, LE models really do have the best resale value because they're produced in limited quantities. The Premium has some nice features, but it tends to fall into that middle ground when it comes to depreciation, somewhere between the Pro and the LE.
